The origins of Oil Tec trace back to Cairo, where the visionary Hag Mohamed Morgan, armed with invaluable experience gained from foreign soap factories, laid the foundation for what would become a family legacy. Building upon this strong foundation, his son, Hag Mustafa Morgan, emerged as a transformative figure. He not only continued the family's tradition but also played a pivotal role in establishing one of the first truly independent Egyptian soap manufacturers in 1940.

Foundation & Launch

Oil Tec started up as a new company in new location under Investment Law no.8/1997, marking the beginning of our modern manufacturing era.

2003
Government Partnership

Started production and supplying Egyptian Government with 36,000 MT/Year, establishing ourselves as a trusted national supplier.

2006
Royal Brand Launch

Started Royal brand to expand presence in the local and international markets, marking our entry into consumer branding.

2010
Major Expansion

Increased refining annual capacity by Unit II from 40,000 MT to 80,000 MT per year, doubling our production capabilities.

2015
Capacity Growth

Increased refining annual capacity by Unit III from 80,000 MT to 120,000 MT, establishing world-class production scale.

2021
NFSA Whitelist

Successfully added to Egyptian NFSA's Whitelist, demonstrating our commitment to the highest food safety standards.

2022
Top Exporter

Became one of the most oils exporter in Egypt, one of Top Ten Foodstuff exporters, solidifying our market leadership position.

2024
Strategic Acquisition

Acquired fatty acids and animal feed concentrates plant in Nubariya City as a new branch, expanding our product portfolio.
